Welcome to the site for Friends of Spiers, a voluntary organisation caring for the grounds of Spiers School in Beith, North Ayrshire in Scotland.

We are a Garnock Valley support group, affiliated to the British Trust For Conservation Volunteers (BTCV), which works with the Spier’s Trust, North Ayrshire Council Ranger Service, Beith Cultural & Heritage Society, Youth Making Beith Better (YMBB) and others to further the development and maintenance of the Spier’s Parkland.

FoS encourages other groups to become involved at Spier’s through membership, carrying out conservation projects; biodiversity enhancement initiatives; photographic and other surveys; as well as arranging events and furthering the educational and ecotherapeutic uses of the Spiers woodlands and open spaces.
